The Request
One of the partners from The Cayman Islands National Recovery Fund (CINRF) contacted Ronco regarding an issue with the CINRF website. The website was sitting on an extremely outdated version of Joomla and was using a deprecated theme/plugin. When we originally spoke to the client we asked about migrating over to WordPress however the funding was not available.
The Final
The newest version of Joomla was installed on a staging site alongside a boilerplate template. Each element from the original website was transferred over. The menu plugin and other elements were updated to work with the newest version of Joomla. Additional security was added such as two factor authentication and brute force detection to prevent further issues.
