The Request

The Intellectual Property Caribbean Association (IPCA) initiated contact with a request to transition their existing SquareSpace website to a more dynamic platform. They aimed to retain the familiar look and feel of their online presence while migrating to WordPress, a versatile and scalable content management system. The primary objective was to empower IPCA with the ability to make instant updates and modifications without reliance on external developers. This necessitated the creation of an intuitive backend interface tailored to IPCA’s specific needs, ensuring seamless content management and fostering agility in responding to evolving market dynamics.

The Final

The website migration process involved meticulous attention to detail, with every aspect meticulously replicated from SquareSpace. Layouts, wording, and even CSS styles were faithfully recreated on the new platform, ensuring continuity and brand consistency. In addition to mirroring the original design, we implemented quality-of-life enhancements based on IPCA’s evolving requirements, further optimizing the user experience.

The final website comprised over 100 pages, each meticulously remade from the ground up to meet IPCA’s exacting standards. This comprehensive overhaul ensured that every aspect of the website aligned seamlessly with IPCA’s vision and objectives. The new website went live in 2019 and has since remained operational, serving as a robust digital platform for IPCA to engage with stakeholders, disseminate information, and promote their mission in the intellectual property landscape.
